# What is Social Proof?

**Social Proof** is a simple app that helps online stores build trust, get more sales, and turn visitors into buyers — all by showing real-time activity from other customers..

### How does it work?

The app shows small pop-up messages on your store that tell visitors what other people are doing right now or just did. For example:

* Someone is looking at a product
* Only a few items are left in stock
* A discount or special offer is available
* Quick links to popular products or offers
